In Saudi Arabia, dependent and companions are two different terms. Dependents are the employee’s first wife, daughters, and sons below 18 years of age while companions are the parents, in-laws, wives other than the first, and domestic helpers sponsored by the employee. The scope of the dependent and companion fees below is any worker currently employed in the private sector companies.

Guide To Dependent and Companion Fees
The fees for your dependent and companion depend upon the date of their entry here in the country. Note that it is payable annually and should be paid for in advance. The employee should also bring with him the renewal for his Resident Visa or Entry/Exit Visa so to support that he is legally staying in the country with his dependent and companies. Here is a list of fees.
- 400 Saudi Riyal every month for dependents and companions starting from July 1, 2020.
- 300 Saudi Riyal every month for dependents and companions starting from July 1, 2019.
- 200 Saudi Riyal every month for dependents and companions starting from July 1, 2018.
- 100 Saudi Riyal every month for dependents and companions starting from July 1, 2017.
